Overview

The Same View Wherever You Look is a 2024 dance film directed by Carmen Bamba, with music composed by Gustavo Gill. The film has been selected for several international dance and film festivals, including Prisma Rome Independent Film Awards, Braga Dance Festival, DanzaTTack and International Dance Festival Anzahra. I edited and mixed Gustavo Gill's original score, incorporating additional sound design and musical modulation to emphasize the frantic pace and raw character of the soundtrack. The sound work was shaped around the movement and rhythm of the choreography, manipulating elements of the original composition to heighten the tension and create a more dynamic and unpredictable relationship between the music, movement and image.
