Overview
Férula Placebo is an experimental fashion film that transforms a photographic session into a moving visual narrative, exploring how the queer community can use clothing as both a form of expression and a shield from the outside world. Set against a minimalist white backdrop with carefully composed cinematography, the piece relies on subtle movement and texture to communicate emotion without dialogue. I crafted the complete sonic identity through detailed foley and bespoke sound design, using the paper garments themselves as the foundation of the soundtrack. Every fold, crease, and movement was carefully emphasized to transform fragile materials into expressive sonic elements, gradually building tension while preserving the film's delicate and artistic aesthetic. The challenge was to create an immersive audio experience that reinforced the emotional weight of the piece, allowing sound to become an essential part of its visual storytelling rather than simply accompanying the images.
